Varsity Football Moves to 4-0 with 68-14 Victory Over Tomales

After an uncharacteristically slow start resulted in the Bulls trailing for the first time this season, 14-6, the offense and defense found their groove in their September 24 game against Tomales High School.

George Gale accounted for 4 touchdowns, running one and connecting with Alexander Getty, Spencer Grant, and Julian AhearnLucas Segal ran in 3 touchdowns and Thomas Larder ran 1 and threw 1 to Getty. Getty (3x), Lucas, Zach Olrich, and Spencer West all contributed with 2 point conversions.

The defense, led by Will Schuler, adjusted to the Tomales running game and held them scoreless for 3 quarters. A safety by Andrew Maxwell (2 points), blocked punt by Spencer Grant, and fumble recoveries by Will and Nate Pfendler helped kept the offense on the field with good field position.  Will, Spencer Grant, Nathan Kwei, Andrew, Zach, and Alfredo Diaz all contributed with stops for a loss.

Final score: 68-14 victory, moving the Bulls to 4-0.
