Olivia Flemming

As part of their final "constitutional problem-solving" unit, Malik Ali's 11th and 12th grade Honors Constitution seminar spoke on Wednesday, December 8 with presidential scholar Stephen F. Knott of the U.S. Naval War College.

Students asked Dr. Knott questions about the recent C-SPAN presidential rankings survey results and methodology (Knott regularly participates in the survey), as well as his perspectives on the contemporary troubles of the American presidency as a structural institution.

Afterwards, Dr. Knott said that "the questions were all first-rate. For me, the hour went by really fast. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed talking with this incredible group. The students are clearly incredibly bright, and their teacher is one of the best in the business."

Thank you to Dr. Knott for taking the time to speak with our students!
