Annual Sophomore Class Field Trip to SFMOMA
Branson Communications
Every spring, the sophomore class visits SFMOMA as part of their unit on contemporary American voices. The sophomore English curriculum on American Literature examines the evolution of American identity over centuries. At the museum, students engaged with the work of Robert Colescott, Jenifer K. Wofford, and Kerry James Marshall, discussing how their art expands and complicates our understanding of the American Dream. Oh, and students got to take entertaining selfies with the artworks!
