Branson offers transportation options that allow us to draw and serve students from many different areas. Having students with varied geographic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds adds greater perspective and value to our learning community.
We encourage students and families to carpool to and from campus whenever possible to reduce traffic for our neighbors and to be environmentally friendly. All student parking spots on campus are reserved for carpools, and there are incentives for carpools of more than three. Each spring, the school facilitates the forming of carpools for students who have signed up. If you have any carpooling questions or concerns, please contact Ned Pinger at Ned_Pinger@branson.org.
Branson arranges private transportation from the East Bay, San Francisco, and select locations in Marin. Each year our bus provider reviews our registered riders for route and safety considerations to see if any changes are warranted. If there are any schedule/stop changes, families will be notified immediately. You may register for an entire year or you can make changes before each trimester. Though there is a charge for the bus service, adjustments are made for families receiving financial aid. Occasional riders may buy bus vouchers at the Branson Business Office. All charges are billed to student accounts.

Transportation services will begin on the first day of school Monday, August 28, 2017.

There are two afternoon return trips (see tentative schedules at right).

Marin Bus Stops
Francisco bus makes two pickups in the morning at various points in Marin and

Golden Gate Transit
Students may also use Golden Gate Transit (GGT) to commute to Branson. GGT provides bus service to-and-from the East Bay, San Francisco, and within Marin. The closest stop to Branson is at Bolinas and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. School vans shuttle students to campus from the GGT bus stop. Check the GGT schedules online at http://goldengatetransit.org/.
Branson provides a shuttle from the St. Anselm’s parking lot, which is located on the corner of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Bolinas Avenue. The shuttle bus runs a continuous loop from the St. Anselm’s parking lot to campus from 7:30 to 8:10 am every day except Wednesday, when the shuttle operates one hour later.
After school, the shuttle bus runs a continuous loop as needed from campus to the St. Anselm’s parking. The shuttle leaves from the lower parking lot near the Student Commons building from 3:00 pm to 3:20 pm. There is no cost to ride the shuttle bus to/from the St. Anselm’s parking lot to/from campus.
