Textbook Distribution

  • Over the years, we’ve tried different methods of acquiring and distributing textbooks, and we’ve tried to balance uncomplicated acquisition with sensitivity to costs. After a long and fruitful partnership with the academic program, the Parents’ Association decided to end the annual textbook collection and used book sale. In response, the school has developed a textbook distribution plan starting with the 2015-2016 school year that will ensure that students have the correct books when they need them, as well as save money overall for families.

Through our relationship with Barnes & Noble and textbook publishers, Branson will purchase at discount the required reading for most classes, and pass the savings on to the families. All charges will be applied to the student’s Branson account.

Beginning in August 2016, students have the option of picking up their textbooks before the beginning of school. Please stop by the Library Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm to collect your books.

    Summer Reading

For incoming freshmen, the summer reading texts for English and history were distributed at orientation. If you did not receive your copies, please contact Lori_Deibel@branson.org before the end of the summer.

For all other students, your summer reading texts will be available starting in the beginning of June through the end of summer in the Library. Students should contact Lori_Deibel@branson.org to arrange for pick-up after graduation.
