Branson has a proud athletic heritage - and with good reason.  Since 1972 when Branson became a co-educational institution the Athletic Program has established itself as one of the finest in the state. Bonded by our commitment to our core values: Tradition
    • Be a part of something bigger than your self
    • Pressure is a Privilege
    • Joy from hard work

Our student-athletes, past and present, wear the Blue and Green with indelible pride.  The championship banners that line the walls of our gym inside the Athletic Center demonstrate the vitality of our program. And despite our small size, we choose to “play big” competing in the Marin County Athletic League.

Our varsity teams have won 160 League Championships, 72 Sectional and Regional Championships and 11 State Championships.  Within that includes several record-breaking streaks and performances, such as:

13 – Consecutive Girls’ Soccer League championships from 1974-1988.

1 – In 1996, the Girls’ Varsity Soccer Team was the top ranked team in the country.  And in 1997 and 2000 was ranked in the top 20 of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Poll.

6 – Consecutive Girls’ Tennis League Championships from 1979-1984.

2 – In the 2006-2007 school year the Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity Basketball teams won State Championships.

10 – Girls’ Basketball North Coast Section Championships including 6 consecutive championships from 2005-2010.

9 – Boys’ Basketball North Coast Section Championships including 5 consecutive championships from 2004-2008.

55 – Girls’ Golf League match winning streak that included 3 consecutive MCAL championships (2009-11).

    – Girls’ Volleyball State Championships from 2009-2012 and 6 consecutive Section and Regional Championships from 2009-2014

46 – In 2001 the North Coast Section introduced the Scholastic Team Championship Award.  As much as we are proud of our success on the field, court, track and in the pool, Branson student-athletes have distinguished themselves in the classroom as well.

Our heritage remains strong because it is built on a foundation that stems from the pursuit of excellence, hard work and a genuine love for the game and each other.
