Students Lead

Want to be an ambassador for Branson? Every year, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders join the Admissions team to share their diverse experiences and perspectives on campus life with 8th grade visitors and their families. As an admissions ambassadors, you'll answer questions on student panels, tour visiting students and parent around campus, help host open houses, and participate in off-campus events. Come join the Admissions team and show our prospective students and families all the things that make Branson great!

Connecting with members of our community with like experiences can provide insights and support. Student Affinity Group leaders lead affinity spaces, in partnership with faculty and staff, that are centered around the exploration and celebration of specific aspects of identity—race/ethnicity, class, gender, sexual orientation, ability, religion, size, nationality, family status, and more. These spaces are open to all. Each year, students create new spaces and programming as this program continues to grow and change, in reflection of our increasingly diverse Branson community.

Created and run by students (with support from faculty/ staff advisors), clubs are a great way to meet people that share your interests. Each year, Branson hosts over 40 clubs for every interest imaginable. Love fly fishing? Ping pong tournaments? Working to save the environment? Mentoring young children? We've got a club for you. And if you don't find one you love, it's easy to create a new one!

Branson's Community Honor Board (CHB) is a student led body including members from each class who are elected annually. As a member of CHB you will work with your peers to uphold Branson's Honor Code and address academic and behavioral issues through a restorative justice lens. 

Department internships are unpaid leadership opportunities for Branson juniors and seniors to work alongside Branson faculty and staff and support the overall operations of the school. Internships are offered by a variety of departments including: Alumni Relations, Arts Department, Athletics Operations, Athletic Training, Business Office, Campus Services, College Counseling, DEI, Global Education, Human Resources, Library, Social Media/Branson Communications, Social/Emotional Counseling, and Summer Session.

As Branson's spring Immersives program continues to evolve, it may provide opportunities for students to assist in teaching certain course offerings. Learn more about Immersives at Branson.

The mission of the Mental Health Alliance is to open up and to destigmatize conversations around mental health at Branson. As a member of this student-led group you will work to spread awareness, share resources, and start having the difficult conversations around mental health and wellness to support everyone in our community.

Getting involved in student government is a great way to practice your leadership at Branson. The members of Student Senate, representing all grades, work together to plan activities for their class or the student body, and also problem-solve student life challenges as they arise.

These are very visible roles. Student body co-presidents are elected from the Senior Class and lead weekly assemblies for the campus community. Three Class Representatives from each class represent their classmates on Senate and collaborate with their deans on a variety of events and initiatives.

In addition, Senate Ambassadors are part of Senate and also serve in distinct program areas throughout the the school – Athletics, Community Engagement, DEI, and Arts.
