Visit

Branson is located on a quiet, residential street in Ross, CA. Our street address is 39 Fernhill Drive. We encourage all Branson community members and visitors to drive to and from campus with the utmost respect for our neighbors and concern for their safety. We encourage carpooling/ ridesharing, cycling, walking, and taking a bus or shuttle to campus when possible.

For the safety of our students and our neighbors, please obey posted speed limits.

Please do not drive to or from campus on Norwood Road.

It is illegal to turn left from Bolinas Ave onto Shady Lane weekday mornings before 9 am.

Parking on campus is by assignment to Branson faculty, staff, and students during the day. We encourage carpooling/ ridesharing, cycling, walking, and taking a bus or shuttle to campus when possible.

Visitor Parking: We have a small number of visitor spaces on campus, which must be reserved in advance during school hours. (Please carefully review the "Visitor Check-in Procedure" below.) These spaces are found in the upper parking lot on your right after driving through the main gates. Please register your vehicle in advance of your visit. Order an Electronic Parking Permit

1. Under Parent and Visitor E-Permits, click on "Click here to order an electronic permit."
2. Agree to the terms and click continue
3. Select "Visitor Permit $0.00" from the drop-down menu
4. Fill out the form

Special Event Parking: If you are coming to campus for a special event, please pay close attention to the instructions provided by your event organizers regarding parking. In some cases, parking on campus will be available; in other cases, all parking will be at Branson's remote lots and event attendees will be brought to campus via van shuttles. 

Off-Campus Parking: Do not park on the residential streets around Branson at any time. The restricted streets include but are not limited to Fernhill, Glenwood, Waverly, Norwood, Hillgirt, Circle Drive, and Bolinas.

Before Your Visit:

• Please confirm the date, time, and anticipated length of your visit with the Branson employee you are meeting, at least 48 hours before your visit. They will coordinate with our Transportation team to reserve a parking space for you or will advise you on other parking options. 
• Please register your vehicle in advance of your visit. Order an Electronic Parking Permit

When You Arrive:

• Please proceed directly to the visitor parking, as directed by the person you are visiting.
• All visitors must register at our reception desk in the library (enter the archway of the building marked "Katharine Branson Hall" and proceed to the right.  Please ensure you have a valid driver’s license for this process.
• When registering, visitors will be asked for the name of the Branson faculty or staff member with whom they are meeting. Visitors must wait for their Branson host at the reception area unless directed otherwise.

Other Considerations:

• Visitors should not come to campus if they are experiencing any symptoms of illness or if they have been exposed to anyone with Covid.
• Unless the purpose of the visit is to work with Branson programs, visitors should avoid contact with students.

Best known for its Chinese Chicken Salad, Comforts has both a deli with sandwiches and salads to go, and a sit down restaurant. A favorite early morning coffee-and-scone place, and famous for the coconut cupcakes.

A cool Marin coffee shop. Fun vibe and nice outdoor patio. Great omelettes and salads. 

MH Bread and Butter

Fresh house-made bread and baked goods. They focus on fresh, organic, and local food. Outdoor seating.

The Hub

Conveniently located at Red Hill Shopping Center, The Hub is the happening Marin burger spot where locals go to dine, drink, and socialize. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Phyllis Giant Burgers

Just a little further afield, but expect a hearty burger, fries, and great milkshakes. Outdoor and limited indoor seating.
