What we seek ...

We seek to develop every student’s ability to think logically, visualize mathematical relationships, reason using abstract representations, and effectively find solutions to new and unfamiliar problems.

We also want to help students be comfortable with challenge and to persevere when a path to a solution is not immediately obvious.

We build self-confidence, a strong sense of accomplishment, and an appreciation for the beauty of mathematics.

Our offerings include advanced math classes that include AP Calculus, Linear Algebra and AP Statistics and a robust computer science curriculum.

For more detailed descriptions of all math and computer science courses, see the Curriculum Guide below.

Graduation Requirements

The minimum graduation requirement is three years of math and completion of Algebra II. Most Branson students take four years of mathematics.

Math Curriculum Overview

The above chart shows the most common paths through our math curriculum, but students can choose the path that best meets their needs.

CHAMP stands for

(Challenge: Here's a Math Puzzle!)

Puzzles are sent out each week to the Branson community. From the correct answers submitted, one is chosen each time to get a credit at the campus store. At the end of the year, whoever has the most correct answers wins a prize.
