Checklist for Transfer Application to Branson
Please pay close attention to the information listed below as information differs for those transfer students who may be applying as a first-time applicant and those who are reapplying. 

First-Time Applicants Only:

Campus Visit
An all-day visit is required of first-time applicants. You will interview with a faculty or staff member during your visit day.  Visits occur between October and mid-January.  Please call the Admission Office at (415) 454-3612 ext. 207 starting August 9, 2010 to schedule your campus visit.  You must complete the Online Inquiry Form in order to schedule a visit.

Attend one of the two Open Houses
Families are strongly encouraged to attend one of two Open Houses on either Sunday, October 24, 2010 or Sunday, December 5, 2010. The Open House Program is from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. (reservations are not required).

Complete your Admission Application
Part I: Parent/Guardian Common Application Preliminary Filing Date is December 1, 2010.

Part I: Parent/Guardian Common Application Filing Deadline is January 13, 2011.

A nonrefundable application fee of $100.00 should accompany the Part I: Parent/Guardian Common Application. Check should be made payable to The Branson School. (Should this fee constitute a financial hardship, a waiver will be granted upon request.)

Part II: Candidate Application Deadline is January 13, 2011. Note: Have your teachers complete and return the four recommendations and transcripts in the provided envelopes. Deadline is January 13, 2011.

Interview
Your interview with a faculty or staff member will take place during your campus visit. Please note that a completed application, which would include the Part I: Parent/Guardian Common Application, the application fee, the Part II: Candidate Application, the four teacher recommendations, two years of transcripts, and the required campus visit, is not required prior to setting up a campus visit.  Late applicants may not have an interview scheduled.

If you have checked all of the above, you have taken the necessary steps for completing your application to The Branson School. We look forward to receiving your application.

Other Important Dates:
Admission decisions mailed March 17, 2011.
Candidate reply/signed enrollment contract due on March 25, 2011.

Students Reapplying to Branson:

Complete your Admission Application
Part II: Candidate Application Deadline is January 13, 2011.

Although the Part I: Parent/Guardian Common Application and application fee are not required for students reapplying to Branson, the Part II: Candidate Application, four teacher recommendations, and transcripts are still required. These items should be returned in the provided envelopes.

Interview
A campus visit and interview are not required for those students who are reapplying to Branson.  Please note that a complete application includes the Part II: Candidate Application, the four teacher recommendations, and two years of transcripts.
