There's some kind of music in everyone! We have many opportunities to explore and learn:
- 5 choral groups-classical and pop
- Jazz
- Rock
- Chamber Music
- Ethnomusicology
We want to challenge our students to:
- push their technical boundaries
- become confident performers
- learn the language and cultural importance of music
- become strong collaborators
- explore and develop a personal aesthetic
Music at Branson is fun and exciting!:
- we offer many opportunities to perform for our community and the public
- Winter Arts Festival and Concert
- Jazz Show with A Cappella Groups
- Musical pit orchestra
- Fine Arts Festival at Branson (FAB)
- Lunchtime concert series
- Our musicians and ensembles have performed at The White House, Davis Symphony Hall, Disneyland, Union Square in San Francisco and other major venues.
- many students form their own groups and work outside of formal classes
- our students perform for community service at many locations in Marin and beyond
- learn from professional musicians who perform in the Bay Area and beyond
We want to inspire in our students a rich, lifelong appreciation of music:
- many of our alumni return to sing in our Winter Concert
- many Branson music students have gone on to major music schools and careers as musicians and composers
- our alumni tell us of many lifelong friendships that began in Branson music studios
