Strength & Conditioning

Branson's strength and conditioning program is a key element to the success of our Athletics Department.  In the weight room or on the fields, Branson students gain valuable education while preparing for competition and fitness for life.

The program is runned by Bobby Aldridge, a certified strength & conditioning specialist and Egoscue Therapist. The weight room is open to all Branson faculty, staff and students. Programs, which can be tailored to meet the individual needs of each athlete, focus on strength and muscle development, speed and agility, flexibility, and injury prevention.

After school, the strength coach works with athletic teams that are scheduled at different times. Helping these groups takes priority over training individual students. No individuals are allowed in the weight room during team training.  Team training times are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:15-5:30 p.m.

Weight Room Policies:

  • the Weight Room is open to all Branson faculty, staff and students.
  • the weight room after school from 3:15 until 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are open for team training only.
  • the weight room should be left the way you found it (put dumbbells away, medicine balls on racks, weights and bars back where they belong, etc.)
  • if a student comes in individually without a scheduled group or team they may or may not be under the direct instruction of the coach.
  • if at any time the coach feels like a student is not working, then he or she may be asked to leave
  • proper work out attire and athletic shoes are required
  • No food or drink is allowed, other than water bottles.
