Letter Jackets Information & Policies

As students consider the purchase of a varsity letter jacket, please keep the following in mind. The letter jacket is an item that is earned by the student through participation in a varsity level sport at Branson. We consider the letter jacket as an extension of our uniforms, therefore there are specific regulations and guidelines concerning the purchase of the jacket, the items placed on the jacket, and the location of the allowed items.

The jacket must be ordered through two avenues:

1. The Neff Company letter jacket representative who comes to the Athletic Department  several times a year (listen for announcements). 

OR

2. Through  T & B Sports in San Rafael. They maintain a stock of letter jackets. Once the letter, numbers, bull, etc are received by T&B, you will normally receive your completed letter jacket in 2-3 weeks. 

Please Note: Only items issued by the Branson Athletic Department may be displayed on the jacket. These items are: B letter, bull patch, all numbers, pins, bars and the American flag (optional). No other patches, pins, bars, numbers, etc. may be displayed unless given to the student by the Athletic Department.

The position of the items for the letter jacket is as follows:

a. A single B letter or activity patch on the upper left front panel;
 b. The bull patch on the upper portion of the left sleeve;
 c. The student’s jersey number on either sleeve;
 d. The student’s year of graduation on the right sleeve;
e. The American flag patch (optional) on the back of the jacket centered
    below the collar;
f. Any regional patches or special awards on the sleeves;
 g. The student’s name embroidered (optional) on the upper right front panel.
