In essence we are looking for the best and brightest, where character and academics are just as important as a 40-yard dash time, jumping ability and weight room prowess. We want an individual who wants to be the best at everything they do. Someone who will work hard in the classroom as well as on the field or court.

Successful student-athletes here at Branson love to compete.  They have a drive and the willingness to work extra hard. Our student-athletes are motivated and will not quit. With great coaches and administrative support, Branson has been able to stay successful because we maintain a positive family atmosphere. When you are surrounded by good people, who want you to do well, good things will happen.

Potential student-athletes must have four traits to be a successful at Branson. They must be a solid student, they must have a strong work ethic, they must value their teammates and they must like being at Branson.

In addition to the above traits, at Branson we have four strong qualities that we look for in a student-athlete. Number one is talent and skill. Our student-athletes come in at different levels but they always possess potential. Second, intelligence is very important, as we need to find young people who will make good decisions on and off the field and court. Third is character, what type of person are you? Do you have a sense of integrity?  We want the type of young man or woman that will represent Branson with pride and dignity. And finally, you have to be passionate. He or she has to have a great passion for the sports they want to play.

In the end our student-athletes are well-rounded individuals that have mental as well as the physical fortitude to meet all the expectations placed on them here at Branson.  We are very proud of our student-athletes and our program. It's a great time to be a Bull!
